Holroyd Howe is seeking an experienced kitchen porter to support busy catering operations in a prestigious education setting in the Brentwood area. The role focuses on keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, well-organised and fully stocked to ensure smooth service for pupils, staff and guests.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, food preparation support, and assisting with deliveries and front-of-house tasks.

Job Description

The site caters for day pupils as well as boarders and staff and includes not only a breakfast, lunch and supper service but also an extensive hospitality service.

As well as having an excellent presentation, organizational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm

Kitchen porter duties

• wash-up using dishwashers and hand wash
• cleaning and maintaining organization within the kitchen, stores and serving area
• washing plates, cutlery, pots etc
• washing and polishing glassware
• cleaning Kitchen area as required, mopping floors, emptied bins etc.
• assist with cleaning FOH area and floor if require
• assist with deliveries

Pay: £12.94 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week (5 over 7) . Overtime available. 40 weeks term time only. Flexibility is required.
