Job summary

The Cafe at the Palace, operated by Benugo, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join the team at Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while assisting with general food preparation and kitchen tasks.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment by hand or in dishwashers.

• Food preparation – Assist chefs with basic prep tasks like peeling, chopping and slicing.
• Inventory management – Assist in receiving, storing and organising supplies and ingredients.
• Health and safety compliance – Maintain clean, safe kitchen and equipment in good order.
