Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Bristol is seeking a diligent Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team. You will be responsible for dishwashing, equipment cleaning and maintaining a tidy, hygienic work area, while assisting with basic food prep as needed.

We operate 7 days a week with flexible shifts. The role offers opportunities for training through apprenticeships and brand programmes, with perks such as staff discounts and meal provisions on duty.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs during food preparation
• Handle and store food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain the inventory of kitchen supplies and inform the management team when items are low in stock
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and delivered promptly and according to standards
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible
