Job summary

Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa in Hinckley, England, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen team. You will maintain high cleanliness, assist in food preparation as required, and help uphold health, safety and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest cleanliness in all kitchen areas following Head Chef procedures.
• Assist in food preparation when required.
• Ensure kitchen, utensils, cookware and crockery are cleaned promptly.
• Attend Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Food Safety training as directed.
• Assist in par stock ordering for cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Be aware of COSHH regulations and PPE usage.
• Support Head Chef with stock taking and storage checks.
