COSMO Authentic World Kitchen in Liverpool is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team. You will wash dishes, maintain cleanliness, assist with basic prep, and help manage supplies to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage but not required.
• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly and promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Assist in food preparation and basic tasks as required by chefs.
• Manage kitchen waste and dispose of rubbish correctly.
• Store and organize kitchen tools and equipment properly.
• Support with deliveries, supplies, and restocking.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are followed in the kitchen.
• Unloading and storing deliveries; store stock properly.
• Help clean and tidy the kitchen at end of service.
