SSP Food Travel Experts is hiring a Kitchen Porter at Birmingham Airport on a fixed-term contract until the end of January 2027. The role pays £12.85 per hour, with an extra £1.20 per hour for hours from 6 AM, bringing it to £14.05 per hour. There are opportunities to earn tips and service charges, with full training provided.

Shifts run 3am–12am across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. No prior kitchen experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of references and criminal record check required.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• No prior kitchen experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support chefs with basic prep and waste management.
• Keep kitchen areas clean (dishes, surfaces, floors).
• Maintain kitchen and food safety standards.
