Job summary

Benugo is seeking a Kitchen Porter to maintain the cleanliness of kitchens and service areas and assist with storage and light duties. You will support with receiving goods, help with some food preparation, and ensure adherence to Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.

You will work under the Kitchen Leader and General Manager, with an emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and reliable, proactive engagement in daily tasks. This role offers shift work and a clear progression after probation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of kitchens and service areas to the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Keep catering storage areas organised and clean.
• Receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment.
• Assist with some food preparation and service when required.
• Report incidents, accidents, loss or unfit food promptly and take appropriate action.
• Notify Kitchen Leader and GM of broken equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH guidelines.
