Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant based at Plymbridge House, PL7 4LD

30 Hours per week, to include alternate weekends.

Because without you, the meals don’t get made. The kitchen doesn’t run. And the people who call this place home don’t get the warmth, nourishment, and dignity they deserve.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll be part of something bigger. You’ll be behind the scenes, but your work will be felt in every clean plate, every hot meal, every happy mealtime.

What you'll be doing:

Keeping the kitchen spotless, safe, and running like clockwork.
Supporting the cook with food prep and serving of food to deliver well balanced meals on time.
Washing up, clearing down, and staying one step ahead of the next mealtime.
You will rotate stock in fridges, freezers, vegetable store and dry store cupboardin order to help us minimise waste.
Being a vital part of a team that puts people first.
