Job description

We are a bold, award-winning business that prides itself on offering an eclectic range of innovative, fresh, and seasonal menus that impress our customers within an industry-leading environment. We run friendly, welcoming, and positive kitchens with high standards, always striving to be the best we can be. It is these high standards, supported by a team of great kitchen porters—the heartbeat of our kitchens—that enable us to deliver excellence!

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team.

Located among the cobbled streets of the historic market town of Frome, first recorded as an inn in 1311, our venue boasts a stunning free-floating glass restaurant serving sumptuous, seasonal dishes.

What’s in it for you?

  • The opportunity to work for an award-winning business, recognized as the Best Food Offer (2019 & 2020) and Best Managed Pub Company (2021) at The UK Publican Awards.
  • Access to Liberation Life — a platform where you can earn cashback with major retailers and save on holidays, groceries, gifts, and more!
  • A competitive hourly rate plus an equal share of generous tips. You will be paid for every hour you work.
  • Industry-leading training and development through bespoke plans as part of our ‘Pillars of Progression’ programme.
  • Partnership with HIT Training to provide industry-leading apprenticeship schemes.
  • Additional support and coaching from our talented kitchen teams.
  • Tools and resources invested in our kitchens to help you succeed.
  • The vibrant atmosphere of team parties, events, training courses, great suppliers, and some of the best team rewards, discounts, and benefits (including 50% off food on shift).
  • A caring business committed to your well-being, including our partnership with the Burnt Chef Project to promote mental health awareness and support, along with a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.
