About The Role

Our Food and Beverage department is essential in providing passengers with a positive journey through our airport. Our Kitchen Porters play a vital role in the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring passengers are satisfied before they travel. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and all preparation areas.
2. Cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils.
3. Storing dishes and utensils properly.
4. Supporting the Chef with food and dessert preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
5. Organising the stock room.
6. Embodying the Airport’s ‘One Team’ culture and supporting business needs as required.
7. Working flexible shifts during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Skills, Knowledge, And Expertise

If you meet the following requirements, you have the necessary skills for this role. We can teach everything else:

• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working in a kitchen (advantageous).
• Knowledge of food safety.
