A Day in the Life of a Kitchen Porter at the Met Hotel, Leeds
  • Keep the kitchen buzzing by making sure everything's sparkling clean - from pans and plates to prep stations and utensils.
  • Scrub, shine, and stack - you'll be the magic behind the scenes making sure everything's ready for the next delicious dish.
  • Lend a helping hand to the chefs, with simple prep jobs like chopping, peeling, or portioning - every little helps during the rush!
  • Tidy as you go, keeping rubbish in check, recycling properly, and making sure the kitchen stays spotless and safe.
  • Keep things in order by stocking and organising storage areas so everything's easy to grab when it's needed.
  • Pitch in with deliveries, helping unpack and store goods so the kitchen stays stocked and ready to go.
  • Stick to the rules - from hygiene to health and safety, you'll help keep the kitchen clean, compliant, and running like clockwork.
  • Great attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean and organised.
