Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is hiring a Kitchen Porter for The Stables at Whitby, a charming inn set in the North York Moors region. You will support the kitchen team by maintaining wash-up areas, ensuring cleanliness of equipment, and assisting with basic food preparation in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

• Maintain wash-up area and keep it clean and organized.
• Help the kitchen team with basic food preparation.

• Follow the cleaning schedule and perform general duties as directed.
• Support a fast-paced kitchen while upholding standards.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene. Your positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn will be essential as you manage the wash-up area, ensure kitchen equipment cleanliness, and assist with basic food preparation.

You’ll work closely with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence and courtesy in all interactions. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to personal presentation. You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly by following the cleaning schedule and taking on other general duties as directed.
