Job summary

The Club Company is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to support our premium golf and country club kitchens, helping prepare ingredients and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

You will follow standard recipes, assist with equipment and stock, and contribute to smooth service across early morning and evening shifts in a prestigious club setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obtaining ingredients and keeping stock updated.
• Clean food preparation equipment and maintain a hygienic kitchen.
• Follow recipes and ensure food preparation is executed to Club specifications.
• Wash crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils; store equipment properly.
• Support the chef team and participate in departmental meetings.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Porter support in food preparation and ensure the smooth running of our kitchen. In this role, you will assist with obtaining ingredients, clean food preparation equipment, and maintain a safe, tidy kitchen environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining the necessary ingredients and small equipment for food preparation. You will follow standard recipes and ensure food preparation is executed according to the Club’s specifications. You will use safe and sanitary food handling practices, while maintaining cleanliness in your workstation, including washing all crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils to the required standards. Your duties will also include cleaning food storage areas, managing waste, and ensuring all kitchen utensils are properly stored. You will actively contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and hygienic kitchen environment, assist the chef team where needed, and participate in departmental meetings.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Previous hospitality industry cooking experience preferred.

Schedule:

• We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300


• Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays


• Evening availability for functions (until 0200)
