Restaurant Associates is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. You will help keep the kitchen clean, safe and organized, supporting chefs and ensuring a smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and store kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils.

• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and general kitchen organisation.
• Complete and record cleaning schedules.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment at all times.

Kitchen Porter

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and play an important role in keeping the kitchen clean, safe and running smoothly.

The Role

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. While the role is primarily Monday to Friday, some flexibility will be required to support occasional events and changing business needs.

Working alongside our chefs and wider kitchen team, you’ll help maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation, ensuring everyone has a safe and efficient environment to work in.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Washing, cleaning and storing kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
• Keeping kitchen floors, walls, work surfaces and storage areas clean and tidy.
• Removing rubbish and recycling in line with site procedures.
• Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation and general kitchen organisation.
• Completing and recording cleaning schedules.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required.
• Following all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment at all times.

You don’t necessarily need previous kitchen experience - a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
