Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Kitchen Porter will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-equipped. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and hospitality, and who are eager to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential.
• A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is highly valued.
