Job summary

Caledonian Leisure Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchens in our UK hospitality operations. You will keep surfaces clean, assist with basic food preparation, and help with waste management.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen surfaces, counters, sinks, stoves and walls clean and sanitized.

• Support the chef in basic food preparation.
• Remove kitchen waste from waste containers.
• Wash dirty dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and load into the dishwasher.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing them in the kitchen.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen surfaces including counters, sinks, stoves and walls clean and sanitized.
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organized
• Supporting the chef in basic food preparation.
• Removing kitchen waste from waste containers.
• Washing dirty dishes, cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans and loading dishes into the dishwasher.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing them in the kitchen.
