Job summary

Jubilee Hospitality is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter in Stoke-on-Trent. The role runs Monday to Friday during daytime hours, offering steady weekday work and no evenings or weekend shifts.

Training is provided if you have little prior kitchen experience, and your punctual, team-oriented attitude will help keep the busy kitchen running smoothly. Pay ranges from £12.71 to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience, with a friendly, supportive team environment and consistent, regular work.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is given.
• A good work ethic and the ability to work at a quick pace.
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude.
• A team player who can follow instructions.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge is a bonus.
• Ideally you'll have a full driving licence and your own transport to get to the site.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment, by hand and by dishwasher.
• Keeping the kitchen, floors and work surfaces clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Following cleaning schedules and food hygiene standards.
• Taking in deliveries and putting stock away correctly.
• Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling.
• Helping the chefs with basic food prep when needed.
