Your role as Kitchen Porter:

This is an entry-level position in the kitchen. We recognize and value the importance of a good kitchen porter in helping the kitchen run smoothly. No matter how skilled the chefs are, without clean pans, nothing can be cooked!

Your main duties will involve:

• Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are completed promptly
• Collecting and washing pots and pans
• Cleaning food preparation areas, equipment, crockery, and cutlery
• Unloading food and equipment deliveries
• Organizing the store room
• Keeping work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitized
• Food preparation, including some salads or desserts
• Performing other duties such as deep cleans and laundry of kitchen towels and aprons
