Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Cheltenham is looking for a Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team and deliver guest care with a smile. You will help keep the kitchen spotless, wash and store all items, assist with basic food preparation and manage waste while following HACCP and health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Interest in delivering guest care and working in a team.
• Pro-active with a hands-on approach to daily kitchen tasks.
• Confident communicator willing to share ideas and take feedback.
• Willingness to learn and follow hygiene, COSHH and HACCP standards.
• Supportive of hotel initiatives and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional guest care and maintain a positive service attitude.
• Ensure the kitchen is spotlessly clean and hygiene is observed at all times.
• Wash, dry and store pots, pans, crockery and cutlery safely.
• Assist with basic food preparation as required by senior chef.
• Report maintenance issues to the senior chef on duty.
• Manage kitchen waste promptly and correctly.
• Support with deliveries and stock checks, storing goods properly.
• Follow company policies and health & safety regulations.
