Job summary

Seaham Hall in Seaham Hall, County Durham, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team and maintain a clean, safe working environment to high standards. The role is 20-35 hours per week on a zero-hour contract, including weekends and bank holidays, with on-site duties and essential own transport.

Salary is up to £12.71 per hour, with uniform provided and access to staff benefits, pension scheme, and onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desired.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered.
• Ability to effectively interact with management, and team members in a professional manner.
• Be a team player as well as an individual worker.
• To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times.
• Must have transport.

Responsibilities

• Control stock of cleaning equipment and chemical products using a systematic approach.
• Control stock movement and ensure stock security.

• To Control stock of all cleaning equipment and chemical products using a systematic approach

• To actively promote a attitude of Hygiene and methodical cleaning amongst all team members

Service/Product

• To avoid chemical and water wastage by following Manufacturers guidelines and training
• To keep kitchens in a clean and presentable manor at all times
• Report any maintenance issues to the head chef immediately
• To follow all cleaning schedules and routines
• Use all Machinery as instructed by manufactures guidelines
