Job description

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to gain new skills, along with good working hours, pay, and benefits.

You must be able to work in a busy and fast-paced environment to help maintain high levels of service and assist with the smooth running of the kitchens.

Duties include:

1. Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out efficiently.
2. Assist with basic food preparation as required.
3. Collect and wash up pots and pans.
4. Clean food preparation areas and equipment, including crockery and cutlery.
5. Unload food and equipment deliveries.
6. Keep the storeroom organized.
7. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work surfaces, walls, and floors.
8. Be flexible and willing to assist other departments during busy times.
9. Comply with food hygiene policies.
10. Report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef/GM immediately.
