The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join their team. This is a seasonal contract with variable hours, guaranteed a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Where?

This position is based at The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa in Oban. The hotel offers beautiful harbour views and is conveniently located near Oban train station and ferry terminal, making it an ideal base for exploring Scotland's islands and highlands. Built in 1882, this historic building combines Victorian charm with modern style.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Washing crockery and utensils, and ensuring kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned daily according to hygiene standards.
  • Assisting chefs with distribution and organization, including maintaining shelves, cupboards, fridges, and freezers, and rotating products to manage expiry dates.
  • Following procedures and policies related to COSHH and the use of chemicals and cleaning products, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
