LGH Hotels Management! is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter for Holiday Inn Milton Keynes - Central in Milton Keynes. You will join a kitchen team, keeping the kitchen running smoothly, safely and efficiently and support chefs with prep and setup.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stock handling, waste management and basic food prep, with a focus on hygiene and teamwork to help guests enjoy a positive dining experience.

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently.
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift.
• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly.
• Support kitchen set-up and close-down procedures.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and play an essential role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, safely and efficiently.

This role is at the heart of the kitchen operation. By maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation, and supporting the chefs with preparation and set‑up, you will help create a calm, efficient environment where the whole team can perform at their best.

Your work behind the scenes will directly support food quality, hygiene and service flow, helping to ensure guests enjoy a positive dining experience. You will be part of a team that values reliability, cooperation and respect, where every contribution matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift
• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly
• Support kitchen set‑up and close‑down procedures
