Position: Kitchen Porter

At Ye Olde Griffin Hotel, we are seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team. No prior experience is necessary – we will provide comprehensive training to develop your skills.

Responsibilities of a Kitchen Porter include:

1. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene by cleaning surfaces, floors, and food storage areas.
2. Washing dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils.
3. Proper disposal of kitchen waste.
4. Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment such as cookers and grills.
5. Assisting the chef with basic food preparation, including peeling and chopping fruits and vegetables.
6. Supporting the team to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment.
