About The Horse & Groom

Dating back to the 16th century, The Horse & Groom is a grade II-listed pub and inn located in the heart of Charlton, near Malmesbury. It features a tree-sheltered lawn, its own paddock, original flagstone floors, an open log fire, award-winning Butcombe beer and ale, and a menu of seasonal dishes and traditional pub classics. The pub also offers five boutique bedrooms and a large beer garden for outdoor dining and drinking, making it the perfect rural escape.
