Berkeley Scott is excited to recruit talented Kitchen Porters and Kitchen Assistants for multiple locations across Northallerton and the surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working in busy production kitchens
  • Assisting with food preparation and service
  • Supporting kitchen clean-downs and closure
  • Operating dishwashers and washing dishes by hand when required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per the Head Chef’s requests
We’re looking for candidates who:
  • Have previous experience in a kitchen environment for a minimum of 6 months
  • Hold or are willing to obtain an Enhanced Criminal Records Check
  • Have a Food Safety Qualification or are open to obtaining one
  • Possess excellent communication skills and can thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging setting
  • Have strong organizational skills and can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Take pride in their work and are dedicated to delivering high standards

We welcome applicants with experience as Kitchen Porters, KP’s, Kitchen Assistants, Catering Assistants, or Chef Assistants.
