leaf HOSPITALITY is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team at The Hampton by Hilton Humberside Airport. You will help keep the operation running smoothly, maintain cleanliness and assist chefs with basic tasks in a busy environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork and a strong work ethic, with opportunities for training and development. Compensation aligns with UK minimum wage and shifts may include weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality is desirable but not required.
• Able to work as part of a team and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in kitchen and food prep areas.
• Wash and store crockery, cutlery, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of stock and supplies.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks where required.
• Dispose of waste safely and follow recycling procedures.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are completed accurately and consistently.
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Help maintain a safe, organized and efficient working environment.

Kitchen Porter

The Hampton by Hilton Humberside Airport has 100 bright modern bedrooms, situated right off the A18 just a short walk from Humberside International Airport. We're just 15 minutes from the sprawling Lincolnshire Wolds and Humber Bridge giving access to East Yorkshire.
We are a friendly, helpful, and warm team looking to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a spacious lounge area perfect for relaxing after a busy day located on the ground floor alongside a bar serving hot and cold beverages and snacks. In addition, you can order a tasty meal off our lounge menu. Or if you are looking for a more formal dinner than the lounge, our casual Touchdown Bar & Grill restaurant onsite serves a range of classic dishes. There is also an onsite gym for our overnight guests available and a business centre where you can focus on your work.

What You'll Be Doing
