Job summary

The Seahorse Restaurant in Dartmouth is seeking a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will help in a busy kitchen and be keen to learn, with full training provided for the right person.

We offer a supportive team, guaranteed hours, and all gratuities are shared. You'll enjoy meals on duty, staff welfare support, and opportunities for training and development as part of our valued team culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be reliable.

Kitchen Porter

We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 1 years experience in a similar role, however full training with be given to someone willing to learn. You’ll be able work in a fast-paced environment, and be reliable and excited to be a key part of a happy and supportive team.

We are an Award-Winning Restaurant achieving the highly prestigious “Top Restaurant in the UK” at the Observer Food Monthly Awards and “Best Seafood Restaurant in the UK” by the Good Food guide. The Seahorse is situated on the banks of the River Dart in Dartmouth, where we’re lucky enough to have some of the best fish and shellfish landed in the world.

Please note all hourly or salary rates are inclusive of a fair share of all gratuities.
