Job summary

Rockfish Exmouth is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the busy kitchen team at our coastal restaurant in Exmouth. You will help maintain high cleanliness standards to enable the chefs to perform at their best and assist during peak service periods.

The role is offered on a fixed-term contract, ending on 28 September 2026, with opportunities to earn extra through tronc and gratuities, potentially £2–£3 per hour, plus staff incentives and a generous 50% food discount when dining at Rockfish

The role

As Kitchen Porter you will support the Kitchen team, ensuring cleanliness is to a high standard to facilitate the work of our chefs.

As an integral part of the Rockfish kitchen team, you will have a flexible approach to working hours, able to support the business when it’s at its busiest.

Many of our summer Kitchen Porters come back to work for us season after season, making this a great role to work around your studies.

In return for your hard work, you will receive a fair share of all tronc and gratuities which can be up to an extra £2-3 per hour!
