Job summary

Novotel London Waterloo is part of the Accor network, a global hospitality leader, and you will contribute to creating memorable experiences from arrival to departure.

You will help keep kitchens clean and compliant with Health & Hygiene regulations, count and prepare equipment, and support energy and waste management while growing your career across 5000 hotels in over 100 countries.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality environments preferred.
• Knowledge of basic health and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchens clean and tidy according to Health & Hygiene regulations.
• Count, sort and prepare operating equipment as required.
• Ensure correct handling of chemicals and equipment per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure all equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware are hygienically cleaned and safely stored.
• Follow regular cleaning rosters and methods for deep cleaning of floors, walls, coolers, ovens and equipment.
• Contribute to cost control through energy conservation and careful use of water and cleaning materials.

• To count, sort and prepare operating equipment as required.
• Ensure correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure all operating equipment, crockery, cutlery & glassware is hygienically cleaned and safely stored.
• Follow the regular cleaning rosters and standard methods for deep cleaning of floors, walls, coolers, oven’s & operating equipment.
• To contribute to cost control through energy conservation and the careful use of water, cleaning materials and other appliances
• Ensure garbage is collected and disposed of correctly from all kitchen areas each shift.
• Utilise safe and hygienic methods for the removal of dry and wet waste.
