Job summary

Hijingo is seeking a Kitchen Porter on a fixed-term contract until 1 January 2026 to support a high-energy, premium F&B and entertainment venue in Greater London. You will work within a fast-paced kitchen, helping keep areas clean, organised and hygienic while supporting the culinary team.

The role focuses on volume service, attention to detail, and teamwork, ensuring guests enjoy timely, great-tasting experiences. A positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.
• Strong clean-as-you-go habits and food safety awareness.
• Reliable team player with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen duties to maintain a clean, organised and sanitary environment.
• Support food preparation and service during busy periods while following hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to help deliver high-quality guest experiences.

Salary - £12.21 per hour base pay + estimated service charge of £0.29–£1.29 per hour

Overview of Role

Kitchen Porter is responsible for assisting in delivering a high-quality experience in an energetic, high volume, clean and sanitary environment. The position is high volume, requiring attention to detail, multitasking and organisation to stay ahead of the shift. Our emphasis on product knowledge is essential to deliver an experience above the ordinary.
