Shepherd Neame is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. If you enjoy hospitality but prefer working behind the scenes, supporting your colleagues, and contributing to the team's overall success, then this may be just the job for you.
The Horse and Groom is located in Wilmington village near Dartford in Kent. Recently refurbished, this stylish gastro pub is perfect for a quick drink, snack, or a delicious meal. We operate full table service seven days a week and can cater for up to 600 covers on busy days. We also have a great garden that can accommodate an additional 180 diners when the sun is shining.
Great kitchen porters are key to a successful kitchen. In this role, you will work as part of our friendly and supportive team to ensure a great and efficient dining experience for our customers.
If you have no previous experience, don't worry. As long as you are confident, committed, and a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything you need to know.
