Job summary

Benugo is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality experiences in our London locations. The role is full-time, 5 days out of 7, with an hourly rate starting at £12.71 and increasing to £14.80 after probation.

You will help keep kitchens and service areas clean, manage storage, assist with some food prep, and uphold safety and hygiene standards. In addition to a competitive hourly wage, the position offers meal on shift, endless tea and coffee on shift,

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and service areas to the highest standard.
• Keep catering storage areas organised and clean.
• Receive and store goods and equipment as required.
• Assist with some food preparation and service when needed.
• Report incidents, damage or unfit food and adhere to safety guidelines.

Job Description

Hourly Rate: £12.71ph increasing to £14.80ph after probation

• To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, providing a clean and safe working area.
• To maintain all catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean.
• To receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment as and when required.
• To be involved with some food preparation and service when required.
• Report immediately any incidents or accidents, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such actions as may be appropriate.
• Report any broken equipment to the Kitchen Leader and General Manager.
• To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
