Job summary

The BoTree, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep the back of house areas clean and well organised while supporting the wider culinary team.

You will wash and store crockery and equipment, maintain hygiene standards, and assist with deliveries and stock movement. A positive, reliable attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen and back of house areas.
• Wash and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed safely and in line with hygiene standards.
• Keep floors, work areas, equipment and waste areas clean and organised.
• Support with deliveries, storage and movement of stock where required.
• Dispose of waste correctly and support recycling and sustainability procedures.
• Assist the kitchen team with general duties as required.
• Follow food hygiene, HACCP and health & safety procedures at all times.

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our Back of House Team. You will play an important role in keeping our kitchen areas clean, organised and running smoothly, while supporting the wider culinary team.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen and back of house areas.
• Wash and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed safely and in line with hygiene standards.
• Keep floors, work areas, equipment and waste areas clean and organised.
• Support with deliveries, storage and movement of stock where required.
• Dispose of waste correctly and support recycling and sustainability procedures.
• Assist the kitchen team with general duties as required.
• Follow food hygiene, HACCP and health & safety procedures at all times.

About You

You will be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment. Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential.

You will take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoy working as part of a team.
