As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hospitality experience, work flexible shifts, and be part of a hardworking kitchen team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in keeping things spotless, and is reliable under pressure.

What’s on offer:
  • Working Hours: Shifts typically 6–10 hours, depending on venue requirements
  • Days: Flexible across weekdays and weekends, with opportunities for both daytime and evening shifts
  • Environment: Work in professional kitchens within prestigious venues across Central London
  • Pay: £12.21 – £12.75 per hour (depending on experience and client)
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday)
  • Temporary hospitality positions with potential for long-term or permanent opportunities
  • Start dates to be confirmed
  • Kitchen Safety Shoes required
Key responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Wash pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery quickly and efficiently
  • Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks when required
  • Empty bins, manage recycling, and keep back-of-house areas tidy
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and health & safety standards upheld
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
  • Work collaboratively with chefs, supervisors, and front-of-house teams
The ideal candidate:
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Cleaner, or General Assistant in hospitality is desirable but not essential
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks (lifting, standing for long periods, fast-paced work)
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Able to adapt quickly to different venues and kitchen teams
  • Available for last-minute assignments and short-notice bookings
  • Eligible to work in the UK and available for immediate start
