Job description

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: 12.56
Hours: 40 per week

An independent, boarding and day school for girls aged 4 to 18 years situated in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. Catering for around 750 students and teachers daily, offering breakfast, lunch, and supper with high-end hospitality. This is a 7-day operation, usually working 5 days over 7. Additional benefits include closure over Christmas holidays and plenty of free parking.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team at our prestigious Bristol location.

Your role will involve maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

• Experience in pot wash duties is advantageous
• Great team player
• Assist chefs with food prep
• Maintain cleanliness standards at all times
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
• Handle heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials, including air filters and extraction systems
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Kitchen Porter experience (preferred but not essential)
• Organizational skills
• Good verbal English skills
• Good written and reading English skills
• Experience in customer service or food preparation environments (preferred)
