Job summary

Brend Collection is seeking a dedicated housekeeping operative to join our team in the West Country. You will follow cleaning schedules, keep areas spotless and ensure equipment is well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to cleaning schedule and clean floors, walls regularly and efficiently.
• Responsible for cleaning and drying crockery, cutlery, trays, sinks, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure machines are in good working order and report issues promptly.
• Ensure deliveries are stored in the correct locations and in a timely manner.
• Dispose of food waste in the correct manner.
• Follow HASAWA, fire precautions and legal requirements, and perform other relevant tasks.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

What will I be doing?

• Adhere to the cleaning schedule, cleaning floors and walls regularly and efficiently.
• Responsible for the cleaning and drying of crockery, cutlery, trays, sinks, food mixers, fridges, freezers, posts, pans, grills, fryers, stoves, extractor hoods and worktops.
• Ensure machines are in good working order, reporting issues as soon as they arise.
• Ensure deliveries are stored in the correct locations whilst in a timely manner.
• Dispose of food waste in the correct manner.
• Understand and comply with company policy on HASAWA, fire precautions, legal requirements, and perform any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
