Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in the preparation and cooking of food as required.
• Clean all equipment, crockery, and cutlery.
• Take delivery of stock, including food and provisions, checking and accounting for items.
• Support cleaning, periodic cleaning, and deep cleaning as required.
• Handle all food in accordance with the Food Safety & Quality Management System standards.
• Remove waste promptly and dispose of it in the correct waste containers per site waste management plan.
• Perform tasks efficiently.
• Participate as a HACCP team member if required.
• Carry out work in compliance with relevant H&S legislation and codes of practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training, including off-site opportunities.
• Store raw materials and packaging correctly.
• Carry out activities as per the FSQMS cleaning schedule if relevant.
• Receive deliveries and verify supplier invoices following company procedures.
• Complete projects or tasks assigned by the Unit Manager/Chef Manager.
• Embrace and promote a Zero Harm culture.
