Job summary

Pennyhill Park in Bagshot, Surrey, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team and ensure smooth, hygienic operations. You will help with cleaning, washing up, waste disposal and basic food prep while upholding high standards during busy service periods.

The role requires reliability, a strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team with cleaning, washing up and general kitchen duties.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment and storage spaces.
• Assist with pot wash, dishwashing and safe handling of kitchen equipment.
• Support basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
• Follow all food hygiene, health & safety and COSHH procedures.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen colleagues during busy service periods.
