Shepherd Neame's The Old Mill in Ashford (Kennington) is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchens running smoothly and safely. You’ll support the kitchen team, help with basic prep, and ensure clean, compliant work areas in a historic pub setting.

Where You’ll Be Working

The Old Mill in Kennington, Ashford is a cosy country pub located on Canterbury Road, overlooking Dukes Spring, a tributary of the Great Stour River. Dating back to the early 19th century, the Old Mill is a Grade II listed building, taking its name from the nearby Kennington Mill, little of which now remains, having previously been known as the Golden Ball.

What You’ll Do

• Wash and maintain kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils to the highest standards.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
