Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques.
• Clean and sanitise food prep surfaces, storage areas, and equipment following hygiene standards.
• Load/unload dishwashers.
• Clean the entire kitchen after closing to prepare for the next day.
• Empty waste bins and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
• Support the kitchen team by taking deliveries and stocking supplies.
• Follow instructions from kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist in basic food prep such as cutting, peeling, and washing ingredients.
• Help prep cooks and other staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Handle and dispose of food waste properly, following waste management guidelines.
• Follow recycling and composting practices.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, or equipment issues immediately.
• Practice good personal hygiene, including handwashing and wearing protective gear.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, well-organized, capable of multitasking.
• Proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgment.
