Overview of the Job

Duties

• Help the head chef oversee day-to-day kitchen operations to guarantee efficient operation and excellent meal preparation.
• Maintain a cooperative and productive work environment by supervising and training kitchen employees.
• Cook and prepare food in accordance with predetermined recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Make sure that food safety laws are followed, and keep the kitchen spotless at all times.
• Help with menu planning, taking into account special occasions and seasonal selections.
• Keep an eye on the supplies and ingredient inventories and place orders as needed.
• To increase visitor happiness, assist in creating new recipes and refining current ones.
• Work along with front-of-house employees to guarantee smooth service.
