A leading company in the catering sector is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee operations at Lynton Primary School. The role involves menu planning, managing a team, and providing nutritious meals for students. Candidates should have experience in catering management and a Food Hygiene qualification. South West Norse has an opportunity for an experienced and keen school kitchen manager to lead the Lynton kitchen provision, cooking for the West Exmoor Federation schools (Parracombe & Kentisbury) and serving at Lynton Primary School.
You will use your skills and experience to deliver an exciting and varied menu that utilises locally sourced and healthy ingredients, providing excellent customer service for the school. You will be responsible for managing the catering department for children with complex, severe, and profound learning difficulties, including provision of modified diets, catering for allergies, and sensory needs.
You will contribute to menu planning and costing, helping us deliver a nutritional lunchtime meal while leading and directing a small on-site team to ensure timely preparation of high-quality food.
