Join Our Culinary Team - Kitchen Manager Wanted!

Location: Kidlington OX5 1RE
Job Ref: 596979
Pay: £16.00/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shifts: 5 out of 7 days, including weekend work depending on the schedule (not limited to Saturday mornings).

We're hiring a Kitchen Manager to join our passionate team at Campsfield IRC.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the unit, preparing meals, delegating tasks to your team, and leading your team to success.

What You'll Do:
  • Produce hot and cold food for the deli grab & go and hot counter food service for both breakfast and lunchtime.
  • Be accountable for stock flow and rotation of products.
  • Place orders and stock rotation, carrying out regular stock takes and completing the relevant back-office paperwork.
  • Handle customer complaints as required.
  • Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met.
What We're Looking For:
  • NVG catering or equivalent cooking experience in a contract catering environment.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Good timekeeping.
  • Lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work and must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
