Job description

Your new company
Your new job role will be working for a large contractor who have recently won a number of large social housing contracts in the North. This contract will be long term (12+ months).
Your new role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Kitchen Fitter to join our team, working on a social housing bungalow scheme in Oldham. The role involves the installation of Howdens Ridgent carcass units, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet both client and tenant expectations. You will be required to;

  • Install kitchen units, worktops, and appliances to a high standard, with a focus on Howdens Ridgent carcass systems
  • Carry out rip-out and full kitchen refits in both void and occupied properties
  • Fit on average a kitchen per day per one Joiner.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and site requirements
  • Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants
  • All aspects of Kitchen Fitting including fitting units, fitting corner units and boxing in.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in kitchen fitting, ideally within social housing environments
  • Familiarity with Howdens kitchen systems, particularly Ridgent carcass units
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Own tools and transport preferred
  • CSCS card and relevant qualifications desirable
