Job summary

Zeal Recruitment are seeking a Kitchen Fitter for an ongoing programme in the Midlands. Role involves removal of existing kitchen installations and fitting new units, with basic plumbing tasks and pipeline adjustments. Tools and van required; CSCS card mandatory; asbestos awareness certification advantageous.

The position is temporary and ongoing, offering consistent 40-hour weeks at around £200 per day, through Zeal Recruitment.

Qualifications

• Blue CSCS Card is mandatory.

• Experience of working in void and tenanted properties.

Responsibilities

• Removal and disposal of existing kitchen installations.
• Installations of new kitchen units, worktops, sinks, appliances and fixtures.
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks and pipework adjustments.
• Make-good works for a clean, finished result.
• Work to programme deadlines while ensuring quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environment.
• Work independently or with other trades as needed.

This is a long-term opportunity for skilled tradespeople who take pride in delivering high quality workmanship and maintaining professional standards on every job.

Key Responsibilities

• Removal and safe disposal of existing kitchen installations
• Installation of new kitchen units, worktops, sinks, appliances, and associated fixtures
• Carrying out basic plumbing tasks and pipework adjustments
• Completing all making-good works to ensure a clean, finished result
• Working to programme deadlines while maintaining excellent quality standards
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and tidy working environment at all times
• Working independently or collaboratively with other trades as needed

As the Kitchen fitter, you will need:

• Blue CSCS Card as a minimum
• Asbestos awareness certification (advantageous)
