Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Kitchen Fitter for a long-term self-employed role in the Abingdon area near Oxford. You'll work a guaranteed 40-hour week with weekly payments and have the option to move to a permanent position with the company.

Ideal candidates have a proven kitchen fitting track record, own tools, and can travel to Oxford with their own vehicle. Time served or relevant carpentry qualifications are welcomed.

• Own tools and related kit for kitchen fitting
• Time served or relevant qualifications in carpentry or related trades

Responsibilities

• Strip out existing kitchen and flooring
• Adapt pipework to receive new kitchen
• Install new kitchen layout and units
• Tile kitchen area above worktops and cooker space
• Install ply flush doors in the kitchen

Job description

Youll be working for a major social housing company in the Abingdon area of Oxford, known for providing long-term opportunities and a strong team environment. This is an organisation where youll be valued for your contribution and given stability in your role as a Kitchen Fitter.

I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Carpenter, Joiner or in a similar construction-related role.

As a Kitchen Fitter you will be:

• Strip out of existing kitchen and flooring
• Adapt any necessary pipework ready to receive new kitchen
• Install new benchmark kitchen complete
• Tile the kitchen area above worktops and in the cooker space
• Install new ply flush door to kitchen

This Kitchen Fitter role is offering the following benefits:

• £190 - 210 per day (Self Employed payment basis available)
