Salary: from £30,000 depending on experience and qualifications

THE ROLE

Working as part of our showroom design team you will work alongside our existing team of skilled designers, sales consultants and project administrators in delivering premium home interiors to residential clients throughout East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset. The role would suit someone with kitchen or bathroom design experience. Your responsibilities will include;

• Visiting Clients homes (in a company van) to talk through their Kitchen requirements and complete a full site survey
• Based off the Clients requirements, put together a design and render using our 3D CAD system to show the Clients what their space could look like
• Put together a fully itemised quotation including fitting
• See the project through from start to confirmation (where our project manager will take over)
• Maintaining the showroom to a high standard
• Ensuring that all showroom displays are kept impeccably presented
• Assisting with the showroom design, layout and improvement
• Liaison with suppliers on new product releases, brochures, product pricing and availability
• Maintaining and updating client records in our in-house Customer Relationship Management system and design systems
• Reporting to our design director
• Five day working week Monday to Saturday (Saturday working on a rota basis with a day off in the week)

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have experience in Kitchen Design
• Have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently
• Confident communicator in person and on the phone
• Have a positive, can do attitude
• Have a good understanding of the use of technology including database systems and CAD design software (full training provided on company systems - we use ArtiCAD, and KBBConnect software)
• Able to work as part of a small team or independently
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence (will be checked with DVLA) - mandatory
• Approval to work in the UK - mandatory
