We are looking for a talented and creative Kitchen Designer to join our fast-growing independent interior specialist team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on design precision and wants to take hands‑on ownership of creating functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts that bring clients' visions to life. You will spend your days balancing client requirements and budget goals with innovative product features and design layouts. In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients and internal teams from initial concept to final project completion. Working at the forefront of residential interior design as a Kitchen Designer, you will ensure exceptional customer service is delivered while managing timelines and coordinating smoothly with external suppliers.

What You Will Do Day-to-Day

• Own the client pipeline: Collaborate closely with clients to determine their specific requirements, preferences, and budgets for kitchen projects.
• Prepare designs & specifications: Develop innovative and practical kitchen layouts utilising specialised design programmes such as SketchUp.
• Manage client relationships: Present design concepts clearly and effectively, explaining features, materials, layout options, and colour schemes.
• Drive sales & upselling: Highlight the benefits of premium materials or custom features to naturally upsell additional products and services.
• Collaborate on brand displays: Coordinate with suppliers, manage project timelines, and organise the merchandising aspects of our interior displays.
• Monitor technical documentation: Maintain highly organised records of client interactions, design revisions, and exact project specifications to ensure perfect execution.

About You

You are a creative, process-driven professional with a high attention to detail and an exceptional eye for kitchen space planning. To succeed as our new Kitchen Designer, you must thrive in a customer-facing environment, bring excellent communication skills, and have the following to your name:

• Industry experience: Proven design experience within a kitchen, retail showroom, or interior design environment.
• Technical software know-how: Proficiency in Winner, Virtual Worlds, or relevant CAD programmes to produce detailed and accurate design plans.
• Sales capability: Strong experience or comfort with upselling products and premium services within a retail or consultative design environment.
• Organisational foundation: Excellent written and spoken English skills, strong attention to detail in design management, and basic maths skills for precise measurements and budgeting.
• Desirable extras: Knowledge of retail merchandising principles and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
