Kitchen Crew Leader (Hotel Cook) – MOXY Aberdeen Airport

This position is based on a full-time contract.

Gross Salary: £30,358 per year

How exciting would it be to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment preparing food for our guests and ensuring they leave with a great all-round experience?

We are looking for someone to work in our kitchen operation at Moxy Aberdeen Airport. We are a busy hotel where guests seek quick but nutritious meals.

You don’t need to be a chef, but you do need a passion for food, be organized, and able to work under pressure.

Experience with Merry chefs is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prepare food using Merry chefs
• Present food in line with brand standards
• Prepare, set up, serve, clean up, and restock food prep areas
• Restock, take deliveries, plan orders, and organize BOH areas
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
• Own the FIFO system for food items
• Follow all food safety policies to work safely
• Handle food according to HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance, record keeping, storage procedures)
• Maintain a positive attitude and create a lively kitchen environment

Useful Experience

• Experience in the service industry
